McDonald’s announces end to some DEI initiatives

By Paul Bois | Breitbart The fast food behemoth McDonald’s will reportedly end some of its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, citing the Supreme Court recently outlawing affirmative action (racial preferences) in college admissions. In a lengthy open letter signed by McDonald’s senior leadership team, the fast food giant said that while it remains steadfast in its commitment to inclusion, it will be rolling back some of its DEI initiatives. USA Today reported on the law taking effect, noting “any handgun stored inside an unoccupied vehicle in Colorado must be in a locked, hard-sided container that is out of plain view, and the vehicle also must be locked, with some exceptions.” Breitbart News pointed out numerous new gun controls go into effect in California on January 1, 2025, among them a law that requires licensed gun dealers to warn would-be gun purchasers of the alleged dangers of gun ownership. First migrant caravan of 2025 heads from southern Mexico to U.S. border

Between 2,000 to 2,500 migrants started the first caravan of 20205 in the southern state of Chiapas. The goal of the group is to walk to Mexico City to find alternate routes to reach the U.S. border and claim asylum. The caravan began early Thursday morning in the Bicentennial Park of Tapachula, Chiapas.
