Denver police investigate string of shootings into vehicles along I-225 and I-25

By Gabby Easterwood | KDVR-TV Fox 31 News Denver police are investigating a string of shootings along Interstate 225 and Interstate 25 early Wednesday morning. Denver police said on Feb. 5, between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m., they received approximately five reports of felony menacing with shots fired by a driver of a vehicle along I-225 in Aurora and I-25 in Denver. Man convicted in Aurora operation that produced ‘millions’ of fentanyl pills

By Jacob Factor | KDVR-TV Fox 31 News A Denver jury has convicted a man responsible for producing “millions of individual fentanyl pills” during 2024 in a drug manufacturing operation based in Aurora, the Denver District Attorney announced Wednesday morning. Tashon Roberts, 33, was convicted on four charges related to the manufacture, possession and distribution of fentanyl as well as three counts of child abuse – exposure to the manufacturing of a controlled substance and one count of tampering with physical evidence. In ‘Return to Sender’ operation, ICE targets 100+ Venezuelan gang members for arrest

By Maddie Rhodes | KDVR-TV Fox 31 News U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement targeted over 100 members of the Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua, for arrest and detention as part of a multi-location immigration enforcement operation in Aurora and Denver Wednesday morning.  This operation, which the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration Rocky Mountain Division is calling the “Return to Sender Operation,” took at least 10 people into custody at the Cedar Run Apartments at 888 S. Hailing from Boulder, dapper-dressed stuffed marmot Flatiron Freddy has made winter predictions for more than 12 years, usually showing up in style to the celebration: skiing down a trail, driving a car out of his burrow, and even by zip line in a canoe. This year, Punxsutawney Phil made his own prediction for winter after he saw his shadow: six more weeks of winter. The agency is partnering with 30×30 Fundraising, an online nonprofit aimed at stemming the flood of requests for K-9 vests.
