By Sam Page, Chelsea Brentzel | KRDO-TV Colorado Springs A group of naked people showing porn are wreaking havoc for courtrooms across Colorado. The Fourth Judicial District tells KRDO13 Investigates that almost every district in the state has experienced issues with a group gaining access to public livestreams and creating explicit disruptions. A spokesperson tells KRDO13 Investigates one person even exposed themself on a live stream camera in recent weeks. Other people have shared pornography and explicit audio recordings and overall disrupted official court proceedings, according to court officials. Monument has spent more than $100,000 in taxpayer funds in ‘political’ legal battle

By Quinn Ritzdorf | KRDO.com A legal battle between the Monument mayor and a private attorney has cost taxpayers tens of thousands of dollars and it's still not over. More than 17 months after Monument Mayor Mitch LaKind filed a state complaint against private attorney Grant Van Der Jagt, the Colorado Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel said the complaint is still pending. “I think the town needs to know how our money is being spent,” LaKind said. “Being that we have spent over $100,000 in legal fees on top of the $25,000 that was paid via the (legal) engagement, the town people have a right to know what this attorney and his law firm and those that supported his engagement cost.” READ THE FULL STORY AT KRDO.COM

Most Americans feel they pay too much in taxes, poll finds

By CORA LEWIS and LINLEY SANDERS, ASSOCIATED PRESS  A majority of taxpayers feel they pay too much in taxes, with many saying that they receive a poor value in return, according to a new poll from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.  Two-thirds of U.S. taxpayers say they spend “too much” on federal income taxes, as tax season begins. About 7 in 10 say the same about local property taxes, while roughly 6 in 10 feel that way about state sales tax. Generally speaking, Republicans are more likely than Democrats to view taxes as unfair, to say they are paying too much in taxes, and to see taxes as a poor value. READ FULL ARTICLE ON KRDO.COM
