Two Texas Democrats join GOP to ban biological males from girls’ school sports

By Elizabeth Elkind | Fox News Two House Democrats have voted alongside Republican lawmakers to ban athletes born male from participating on girls' school sports teams. Greg Steube, R-Fla., would amend federal law to specify that student athletes must participate in school sports teams that coincide with their gender at birth.  Reps. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, and Vicente Gonzales, D-Texas, were the lone Democrats to vote for the bill when it passed 218 to 206. Rep. Don Davis, D-N.C., voted "present." READ THE FULL STORY AT FOX NEWS

In suit with McDonald’s, plaintiffs claim race-based Hispanic-only scholarship is unconstitutional

By Emily Hallas | Washington Examiner A civil rights organization filed a lawsuit against McDonald’s over concerns the company’s scholarship program for high schoolers discriminates against non-Hispanic students.  The American Alliance for Equal Rights mounted the challenge to McDonald’s HACER program over the weekend, arguing that denying aid on the basis of race is unconstitutional. The group alleged that the scholarship initiative, which has handed out $33 million in funding to thousands of Latino students, violates the United States’s civil rights laws because it doesn’t offer the same opportunities to non-Hispanic students.  AAER filed the lawsuit after a high school senior from Arkansas was turned down for the HACER program because she was ...

Trump says he’s creating ‘External Revenue Service’ for tariffs

By  Alex Gangitano | The Hill President-elect Trump said Tuesday he wanted to create an “External Revenue Service” to collect tariffs and other revenue from foreign countries, comparing it to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), which collects taxes from Americans. “For far too long, we have relied on taxing our Great People using the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Through soft and pathetically weak Trade agreements, the American Economy has delivered growth and prosperity to the World, while taxing ourselves,” Trump said on Truth Social. “It is time for that to change. I am today announcing that I will create the EXTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE to collect our Tariffs, Duties, and all Revenue that come from Foreign sources.” READ THE FULL STORY AT THE HILL

Daniel Penny seeks dismissal of civil lawsuit filed by Jordan Neely’s father

By Ashe Schow | Daily Wire Daniel Penny, who was acquitted of causing the death of Jordan Neely on a New York City subway, is seeking the dismissal of a civil lawsuit filed by Neely’s father. Andre Zachery filed a lawsuit against Penny in December, shortly before a jury found Penny not guilty of criminally negligent homicide, demanding “judgment awarding damages in a sum which exceeds the jurisdictional limits of all lower Courts which would otherwise have jurisdiction.” Penny’s attorneys are seeking to get that lawsuit dismissed, Fox News reported. Zachery, who was not a part of Neely’s life, alleged that Penny caused the death of his son and should pay him for it. READ THE FULL STORY AT THE DAILY WIRE

Map reveals house-by-house devastation of deadly LA fires with entire neighborhoods nearly wiped out

By Patrick Reilly | New York Post Shocking new maps show the utter destruction wrought by the deadly Palisades and Eaton fires in Los Angeles, offering a house-by-house view of impacted neighborhoods – some of which were nearly leveled completely. The two largest wildfires in the L.A. area have destroyed more than 12,000 structures and killed at least 24 people — and are expected to grow again this week as strong winds fuel the flames. An aerial view of the areas devastated by the Palisades Fire, which has torched over 23,000 acres and killed at least eight people since Tuesday, shows entire neighborhoods in some of City of Angel’s most exclusive zip codes burned to the ground near the Pacific Ocean. White: Here are Trump’s options for dealing with an imminent nuclear threat that’s festered under Biden

By Wallace White | Commentary, Daily Caller Iran has largely been left unchecked by the Biden administration in its goal to become a nuclear power, presenting President-elect Donald Trump with a significant foreign policy challenge that has few easy solutions. Iran, with its current stockpiles, can make a nuclear weapon with 60% enriched uranium in just one week, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said in a November bulletin. The president-elect will have to choose a path quickly upon assuming office, such as renegotiating a deal to halt or slow Iran’s progress, military intervention or re-tooling sanctions that have so far been ineffective. “The United States needs another Middle East war like it needs a hole in the head,” Justin Logan, director of defense and foreign ...
