Chinese hackers tried to break into Donald Trump and JD Vance’s cellphones

By Josh Christenson | New York Post Chinese hackers tried to break into the cellphones of former President Donald Trump and GOP vice presidential candidate Sen. JD Vance by compromising US telecommunications systems, national security sources have revealed to the New York Times. The sophisticated hacking campaign targeted Verizon and may have gained access to data or messages sent by Trump, 78, and Vance, 40, sources familiar with it told the outlet. Other current and former government officials were also ensnared by the Chinese hackers. READ THE FULL STORY AT THE NEW YORK POST

Undecided voters in key state say Harris’ orange-man-bad ‘fascist’ closing message not persuasive

By Wendell Husebø | Breitbart Eight undecided Pennsylvania voters sampled in a Mark Halperin focus group believe Vice President Kamala Harris’s orange-man-bad closing message is not persuasive. The focus group represents a rare sampling of swing state undecided voters who are not generally asked their opinions by the establishment media. Harris opted to close her campaign by claiming that former President Donald Trump is a “fascist” who will rule as a hitlerian tyrant. READ THE FULL STORY AT BREITBART

‘Let’s face it, she is not doing well,’ Trump said Thursday during a rally in Las Vegas

By Emma Colton  | Fox News Former President Donald Trump traveled to Las Vegas on Thursday evening for a Turning Point Action rally where he declared that Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign is "imploding" in a speech that focused on his tax cut plans.  "[Harris is] actually imploding, if you take a look. Because, look, I'm not supposed to say it, but we are leading by so much," Trump said Thursday evening in Las Vegas to cheers from the crowd.   "Now, we're leading by a lot in Nevada. We're leading by a lot in Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin. Even states that are typically never in play for 50, 60, 70 years …But the fact is that states, other states too, big states, are all in play and they like us. But you know what? They think she is grossly in...

Jim Jordan demands file on Afghan national charged with attempting terror attack on election day

By Henry Rodgers | The Daily Caller House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan sent letters Tuesday to the State Department and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) demanding information about the Afghan man with reported ties to ISIS who allegedly planned an Election Day terrorist attack in the U.S. The Daily Caller first obtained copies of the letters to Secretary of State Antony Blinken and DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. In the letters, Jordan demands the following: Case history documents and information, including, but not limited to, the alien’s immigration history, immigration benefits applications, the alien file (A-file) or consular file (including all consular notes), and immigration detention status and history. With its control of migrant flow, Mexico seeks to play key role in US election

By David Agren , Kellen McGovern Jones , Virginia Allen  | The Daily Signal Jairo Salvador Salinas, a migrant from Honduras, was riding a northbound train toward the Mexico-U.S. border. But Mexican immigration officials detained him at a checkpoint near the city of Monterrey, just 100 miles south of the border. Instead of being deported back to Central America, he was put on a flight to southern Mexico. “I don’t have any support here,” he said from a shelter for migrants in Villahermosa, a city on the Gulf Coast closer to his native Honduras than the U.S. border.  Migrant encounters at the U.S. southwestern border have fallen precipitously throughout 2024 as migrants like Salinas are increasingly thwarted on their journeys through Mexico. Biden judge orders Virginia to put more than 1,500 ‘self-identified’ noncitizens back on the voter rolls

By Shawn Fleetwood | The Federalist On Friday, a Democrat-appointed federal judge ordered Virginia to put more than 1,500 allegedly “self-identified” noncitizens back on the state’s voter rolls ahead of the November contest. “Let’s be clear about what just happened: only eleven days before a Presidential election, a federal judge ordered Virginia to reinstate over 1,500 individuals — who self-identified themselves as noncitizens — back onto the voter rolls,” Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin said in a statement. The order came in response to a request from the Biden-Harris Department of Justice (DOJ), which sued the commonwealth last week to prevent its elections department from removing noncitizens and other ineligible registrants from the voter rolls before Nov. 5. Touchberry: Harris aids Trump’s closing argument she’s Biden 2.0

By Ramsey Touchberry, Commentary | Washington Examiner Kamala Harris is selling herself as the “change” candidate, but beyond broad strokes, the vice president has offered scant details when pressed in recent weeks over which policies she would have handled differently than President Joe Biden. Harris’s case hinges on a twofold argument: The 60-year-old represents a new generation and differing life experiences that draw contrast to 81-year-old Biden and will influence her policies in a new direction. But Harris’s lack of specifics has fed into the narrative from Republicans and former President Donald Trump that she symbolizes a Biden 2.0. “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result,” a new Trump campaign ad states. Duke: In a turnout election, this is the tale of two ground games

By Amber Duke | Commentary, The Spectator In the past two months, the Harris-Walz campaign has texted five times asking me to join its door-knocking efforts in Virginia. I am a young woman living in Northern Virginia, so I am statistically likely to be a Democrat. But a data file of reasonable quality would also tell you that I have voted in every Republican primary since 2012, that I am a weekly Mass-attending Catholic and that I am married: three signs that I am probably not going to spend my weekend pounding the pavement for Kamala. This is anecdotal evidence, but it suggests to me that contrary to mainstream media reports, the Harris-Walz campaign doesn’t have the most sophisticated ground-game operation. Allen: Minors are the greatest victims of America’s border crisis

By Virginia Allen, Commentary | Daily Signal Lying among the 16 or 17 dead bodies, Tom Homan spotted the corpse of a little boy, only 5 years old. The child died inside a sweltering truck trailer in Victoria, Texas, while being smuggled into the U.S. in May 2003. These are the memories that today’s images from the border evoke in Homan, a father himself. Children are victims here, not only of America’s broken immigration system and wide-open border, but also of the ruthless cartels that see children—particularly unaccompanied children—as a resource to exploit. Homan was working for the newly formed Immigration and Customs Enforcement at the time that trailer was discovered. ICE is an agency he would later serve as the acting director of in the Trump admini...

Benson: Kamala Harris sidesteps free speech concerns while advocating for top-down control

By Guy Benson | Commentary, Townhall.com In an interview with NBC News on Tuesday, Vice President Kamala Harris lamented America's divisive politics, arguing that her desire to 'turn the page' is really about "closing the page" -- whatever that means -- on "an era that suggests Americans are divided."  It's true that Americans are divided.  Figures in both major political parties and across the political spectrum bear some responsibility for that reality, including both her and her opponent.  Part of the polarization and acrimony is stoked and fueled for cynical purposes.  But a lot of it is simply a reflection of profound differences on policies and values.  Voters have divergent views on what they want the country to look like, what sort of leaders t...
