Joondeph: Why Do Democrats Hate Women and Girls?

By Dr. Brian C. Joondeph | Commentary, American Thinker Democrats and their corporate media allies have co-opted the popular narrative on various social issues, including sexism. Republicans provide little, if any, pushback for fear of what the low-rated Sunday talk shows or the Washington Post might say about them. The social issue du jour is transgenderism. Democrats are the party of transgenderism, which represents only a small fraction of the population. However, if you watched prime-time comedy or drama television shows, you might believe that half of America is gender-confused.  Ironically, the Democrat party platform claims to support women. “We are committed to ensuring full equality for women. We will combat biases across economic, political, and social life tha...

Top aide finally admits Biden was rapidly declining, falling asleep by the pool

By Reagan Reese | Daily Caller One of former President Joe Biden’s senior aides admitted in a new book that the 82-year-old couldn’t grasp the back and forth of debate and would fall asleep by the pool while they prepped for his showdown with Trump, according to a book excerpt. Top Biden aide Ron Klain, who helped the former president with debate prep, was “half-seriously” wondering if  Biden believed he was the president of NATO rather than the president of the United States, according to the excerpt of Chris Whipple’s new book published by The Guardian. While they prepped, Klain reportedly told Whipple that the then 81-year-old president “didn’t know what Trump had been saying and couldn’t grasp what the back and forth was” and would have to cut training sessions short because he w...

Devine: FBI leaders blocked Hunter Biden laptop talk, logs reveal

By Miranda Devine | New York Post, Commentary New chat logs released by the House Judiciary Committee this week show the extraordinary lengths the FBI went to behind the scenes to shut down any discussion of Hunter Biden’s laptop in October 2020 after the New York Post broke the story.  The conversations, withheld by the FBI under Director Chris Wray, show that senior leadership issued an internal “gag order” on the laptop.  The FBI had been in possession of the abandoned MacBook Pro for 10 months by that stage, after computer repair shop owner John Paul Mac Isaac handed it over and warned of the potential crimes and national security concerns he had found. Women’s fencer opens up on refusing to face transgender opponent, accepting punishment and backlash

By  Jackson Thompson | Fox Sports Women's fencer Stephanie Turner took her mask off and got a knee in front of her transgender opponent. Ahead of a bout at the Cherry Blossom Open in Maryland over the weekend, Turner, 31, made the decision not to compete against trans athlete Redmond Sullivan. And Turner also wanted to make sure her refusal was caught on video for the world to see.  Turner came to the decision the night before the event when she checked the competition pools and saw that she would be competing against Sullivan, whom she had read about in an article last year.  READ THE FULL STORY AT FOX SPORTS

Amazon makes bid to buy TikTok as deadline looms

By  Eric Revell  | Fox Business Amazon has made a bid to acquire TikTok as the popular social media app faces a looming deadline to be divested from its China-based owner or face a ban in the U.S. that could take effect this month. A Trump administration official told Reuters on Wednesday that the e-commerce giant made a bid to buy TikTok ahead of the looming ban. The New York Times previously reported, citing three people familiar with the matter, that Amazon placed a last-minute bid to acquire TikTok in its entirety. However, those sources told the outlet the parties involved in the discussions don't appear to be taking Amazon's bid seriously. According to the report, the offer was delivered to Vice President JD Vance and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick. READ THE FULL ...

Liberation day and the end of the world’s trade war against America

By John Carney | Breitbart Tariffs Are Blooming in the Rose Garden President Trump is set to step into the Rose Garden tomorrow for what may be the most consequential economic announcement of his second term. Markets are bracing. Diplomats are dialing. Pundits are speculating wildly. But no one—not Wall Street, not foreign governments, not even some inside the West Wing—seems to know exactly what will be announced. This, as it turns out, is part of the design. Trump has dubbed it Liberation Day—a piece of branding with more substance than cynicism. For weeks, he’s signaled that a sweeping new tariff regime is coming. Twenty percent across the board? A reciprocal system that mirrors foreign rates? Something hybrid and more complex? The ambiguity is not a bug. It’s...

Fort Carson strykers head to U.S.-Mexico border to help with immigration enforcement

By Mary Shinn | The Gazette In brisk and windy weather Tuesday, Fort Carson soldiers eased roughly 20-ton Strykers onto flat rail cars for their trip to the U.S.-Mexico border to help with illegal immigration enforcement.  The slow roll of the eight-wheeled Strykers was followed by the clanking of chains as soldiers tied down the vehicles. Other 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team equipment, including jeeps, small trucks, fuel, water and IT vehicles, waited in rows alongside the Strykers for loading.  Over two days, crews expected to load two trains with vehicles. While Strykers can travel by truck or convoy, rail is more efficient.  The brigade plans to send 105 Strykers with advanced intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems to help border patrol agents, an ...

Republicans win special house elections, expanding slim majority

By Shawn Fleetwood | The Federalist Republican candidates won both special House elections in Florida on Tuesday night, expanding the party’s slim majority in the lower chamber. According to The New York Times, Republican Jimmy Patronis is projected to defeat Democrat Gay Valimont in the Sunshine State’s 1st Congressional District. Located in the Florida Panhandle, the district’s residents overwhelmingly supported President Donald Trump over former Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election. The seat was left open following the resignation of former Rep. Matt Gaetz, who stepped down after being nominated by Trump to serve as attorney general. Gaetz ultimately withdrew his nomination to the position after facing resistance from several GOP senators reportedly opposed to his ...

Progressives keep Wisconsin Supreme Court; more Democrat US House seats likely

By Jacob Adams | Daily Signal Wisconsin residents voted on Tuesday to elect Susan Crawford as the next member of their state supreme court, according to the Associated Press, which declared Crawford the winner. The vote will put the liberals in charge of the state’s highest court during a time when the court’s decisions on congressional redistricting in the state could very well lead to more House seats for Democrats. While Wisconsin judicial races are nominally nonpartisan, the official backing of political parties for both candidates left little doubt about how they would be making their rulings if seated on the court.  READ THE FULL STORY AT THE DAILY STORY
