Henry Ford’s vaccine study backfired, and parents weren’t supposed to see it

By Jen Schumann | Rocky Mountain Voice Parents have long been told that the science on vaccines is settled. A study conducted inside Henry Ford Health in Detroit set out to reinforce that message. Its authors wrote that their goal was to “reassure parents of the overall safety of vaccination.”  The data didn’t land the way the authors expected.  Tracking over 18,000 children, the study showed higher chronic illness among the vaccinated than the unvaccinated. At the ten-year mark, 57 percent of vaccinated children had at least one chronic condition. For unvaccinated kids, it was 17 percent. Parents online are calling out what the unpublished Henry Ford data really shows. https://twitter.com/catsscareme2021/status/1965753836145909911 The numbers that couldn’t be...

Mourning or Margin? What the Silence Over Iryna Zarutska’s Murder Reveals About Media, Policy and Political Deadlock

By C.J. Garbo | Guest Commentary, Rocky Mountain Voice The brutal and senseless murder of 23‑year‑old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska on a Charlotte light rail train has been met not with widespread grief, but with unsettling silence. When a story like this fades from national coverage, especially after being shared widely on social platforms, it raises urgent ethical and political questions - questions the mainstream media seems unwilling to confront. A Refugee’s Promise Meets a System’s Failure Zarutska fled war-torn Ukraine seeking safety. Tragically, her fresh start ended in horror: she was stabbed to death by Decarlos Brown Jr., a 34‑year‑old man with at least 14 prior arrests, on August 22, 2025. Footage capturing the killing - which has shocked millions, revealed bystander...

Trump administration probes spending of Medicaid dollars on illegal immigrants in blue states

By AP News SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — The Trump administration is taking its immigration crackdown to the health care safety net, launching Medicaid spending probes in at least six Democratic-led states that provide comprehensive health coverage to poor and disabled immigrants living in the U.S. without permanent legal status. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is scouring payments covering health care for immigrants without legal status to ensure there isn’t any waste, fraud or abuse, according to public records obtained by KFF Health News and The Associated Press. While acknowledging that states can bill the federal government for Medicaid emergency and pregnancy care for immigrants without legal status, federal officials have sent letters notifying state health agencies...

New Bill Rolls Back Decades-Old Gun Law on Suppressors

By Brent Scher | The Daily Wire What looked like a small throw-in legislative win could pave the way for a seismic legal victory for Second Amendment advocates. Plenty of ink has been spilled on the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, the sweeping piece of budget reconciliation legislation that cuts taxes, creates “Trump accounts” for newborns, and grants an unprecedented new surge of funding in support of mass deportation and border security efforts. But one of the law’s biggest impacts may be its unfurling of a longstanding gun law that firearms enthusiasts and Second Amendment advocates have long had in their sights. The government has imposed a tax on suppressors, tools that are used to dampen the sound of a gunshot, ever since 1934, when the National Firearms Act was passed. Thank...

Poll reveals stark divide between conservative young men and liberal young women

By Johnathan Jones | Commentary, The Western Journal NBC News published polling on Monday that revealed a deep divide among young voters on serious social issues. The results found conservative men and liberal women hold starkly different views on success, family, and personal fulfillment. Steve Kornacki of the NBC News Decision Desk shared the results on X. Among men who voted for President Donald Trump, 34 percent defined having children as central to their success. That was followed by 33 percent of Trump-voting men who said success meant financial independence, and 30 percent who said success meant a fulfilling career. https://twitter.com/SteveKornacki/status/1965032049808654515 Meanwhile, 29 percent placed being married at the top of their list. Transgender offender threatened girls in bathrooms and plotted attacks on schools and churches

By Tyler O’Neil | Commentary, The Daily Signal What if I told you a man who identifies as a “transgender woman” threatened to victimize girls in girls’ bathrooms, shoot up schools, and bomb churches? Would that make you more likely to support efforts to investigate whether some people who identify as transgender pose a terrorist threat? Most Americans haven’t heard the name of Jason Lee Willie, a man who identifies as female and goes by the name Alexia, but his case highlights the unnerving possibility that many people who identify as transgender may pose a violent threat to their fellow Americans. Americans are more familiar with the man identifying as a woman who killed two and injured 17 at a Minneapolis Catholic school last month before taking his own life....

FBI insider’s China connections spark new concerns over Biden-linked leaks

By Jerry Dunleavy | Just The News The former FBI official who leaked details of a criminal investigation to a Chinese company with a relationship with a Hunter Biden client was over the years involved in a wide range of investigations, from Wikileaks to Crossfire Hurricane. It remains to be seen which ones may have been tainted. The since-convicted FBI counterintelligence leader, who leaked information about a criminal investigation into a Chinese company linked to Hunter Biden’s business efforts, had previously played what he claimed in his defense to have had supervisory roles in a wide range of investigations. Charles McGonigal, now known to have leaked sensitive information to China-linked targets of an FBI investigation he was helping oversee, played a role in a host of other...

U.S. Dairy Industry Faces Tight Herd Numbers Until 2027

By Colbank | The Fence Post The U.S. dairy industry is facing a potential shortage of its most important resource — milk cows. The number of replacement heifers available to enter the dairy herd as milk producing cows has already fallen to a 20-year low. Based on new CoBank research, replacements could fall even further over the next two years before a recovery begins in 2027. These declining heifer inventories could limit growth in the milk supply, a looming concern for dairy processors with expansion plans underway. The U.S. is currently experiencing an historic $10 billion investment in new dairy processing facilities expected to come online through 2027. The decline in dairy heifers over the last several years is closely tied to beef and dairy market dynamics. Tight cattle suppli...

Trump condemns Charlotte stabbing, says nation must stand against evil

By Tom Ozimek | The Epoch Times The president called the Charlotte train stabbing ‘horrible’ and said nation must confront evil. President Donald Trump on Sept. 8 denounced the fatal stabbing of a 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee in Charlotte, North Carolina, as a “horrible” act, saying the nation must stand up against “evil people.” “We’re all people of religion, but there are evil people,” Trump said during remarks at the Museum of the Bible. “And we have to confront that. I just give my love and hope to the family of the young woman who was stabbed this morning or last night in Charlotte by a madman.” The victim, Iryna Zarutska, was killed on Aug. 22 while riding the city’s light rail, minutes after taking a seat in front of the man accused of attacking her, according to police...

“Devastating trend”: High school seniors hit record-low reading levels

By Leif Le Mahieu | Daily Wire "The achievement gap between students is widening, not shrinking." The Trump administration renewed its push to return control of education to the states after new data revealed continued declines in the reading, math, and science scores of high school seniors nationwide. The National Center for Education Statistics released the “Nation’s Report Card” for 12th-grade students on Tuesday, finding that reading levels had reached new lows and math scores were the worst in 20 years. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon said that the numbers confirmed a “devastating trend” of American students testing at “historic lows.” “Despite billions in federal spending and countless well-intentioned programs, the achievement gap between students is widen...
