Denver School Board Debates to Stream Live Oct. 7 Ahead of Crucial Election

A series of four school board debates will be livestreamed on the CBS Colorado YouTube channel on Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. CBS Colorado is working with Chalkbeat Colorado, Educate Denver, and Regis University to present the debates before in-person and online audiences. The United States Postal Service has announced a proposed new section to its mailing standards that would have a major impact on the return of mail-in ballots, as it would shift the responsibility to the voter to confirm the exact receival date by the postal service. USPS realizes that with their new mail processing system, the postmark is no longer proof of the date that it received a piece of mail.
