America’s Next Top Entrepreneur: The Patriot Pitch Competition

By Justin D. Everett | Guest Commentary, Rocky Mountain Voice Since the founding of our nation, American innovation has transformed lives by turning bold ideas into reality. As the United States approaches its 250th anniversary, this legacy is accelerating—driven by policies that prioritize American ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit. This spirit is embodied by the Freedom 250 Patriot Pitch Competition, a national initiative led by the U.S. Small Business Administration to spotlight and support the businesses propelling America forward. With a $1 million prize pool—made possible by a generous contribution from Clover Network, Inc.—the competition celebrates entrepreneurs who exemplify American ingenuity by solving problems, building businesses, and creating jobs. Eligible small ...

Artemis II Astronauts Make History With Record Breaking Journey Past Moon

By Misty Severi | Just The News Mission specialist Jeremy Hansen honored the legacy of the Apollo missions in a message after the crew broke Apollo 13's record. The crew has traveled over 252,000 miles now. The crew of the Artemis II lunar mission broke a record Monday when they traveled further than Apollo 13's record of 248,655 miles from Earth. The crew also began their lunar flyby, which included the first glimpses humans have ever seen of parts of the lunar dark side. The lunar flyby is expected to last six hours and the crew will be divided into pairs to look out of the Orion spacecraft's windows. Franz: Climate hawks are facing extinction—realism is taking flight

By Danielle Franz | Real Clear Energy Once perched atop the climate movement’s moral high ground, the self-anointed “climate hawks” are now watching their influence dwindle, and nowhere is that retreat more visible than in California. Long the epicenter of progressive climate ambition, the Golden State is now backpedaling. Democrats who once championed aggressive environmental mandates are hitting pause, reworking regulations, and distancing themselves from policies that have driven up energy and housing costs. A post-2024 reality check has swept the party: climate may still poll well in theory, but not when it collides with affordability. This shift isn’t isolated. It’s emblematic of the climate hawks’ broader failure — a movement that moralized, catastrophized, and sacrificed w...

Hancock: President Trump’s nuclear plan puts power—and America—back on the grid

By Michael A. Hancock | Commentary, Substack Trump’s Plan to Fix the Grid, Cut the Red Tape, & Fuel the Future Politics doesn’t power cities—electricity does. And Trump just fired up the most significant energy move we’ve seen in decades. It isn’t about windmills or wishful thinking. It’s about fission. Steel. Jobs. It’s about restoring America’s backbone, one kilowatt at a time. Welcome to America’s new atomic age. Trump’s nuclear strategy is not a relic of the Cold War but a blueprint for national revival. At its core is a simple truth: electricity has become intelligence. The race to dominate artificial intelligence—the next frontier of economic and military superiority—will not be won with slogans or solar panels. It will be won with gigawatts. And nuclear energy, ...

York: Why Musk’s space vision matters more than Washington will admit

By Byron York | Commentary, Washington Examiner WHY MUSK IS SO IMPORTANT. Elon Musk‘s giant Starship spacecraft went out of control, tumbled, and broke apart several minutes into a test flight Tuesday night. It was the latest in a series of unsuccessful-but-still-instructive tests of Musk’s hugely ambitious rocket program, which is designed to go to Mars. And it is also, at least for now, the heart of the American space program. “Starship is the world’s largest and most powerful rocket,” the Washington Post reported, “and its test flights are crucial to the future of America’s space ambitions.” That, and not a troubled venture into government, is what makes Musk so important. Musk is crucial to America’s space ambitions because, for a long time, after one of the g...
