New data shows that homicides in Denver and Aurora, Colorado, have experienced a significant drop in the wake of Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) efforts to take down the Tren de Aragua gang members that had been causing so much chaos in the area.

But local Americans are still being killed by President Joe Biden’s migrants, including a 24-year-old woman killed in July of 2024 in Aurora by a 15-year-old reckless illegal-migrant driver. The local prosecutor just offered a sweetheart probation and community service deal to the youth migrant who is now applying for humanitarian asylum.

The majority of Coloradans have become disengaged and disillusioned with Party politics and rhetoric, for good reasons. Both major parties, R and D, have lost their way. So, the largest bloc of voters in CO is now “Unaffiliated.”

In political discussions, we often use ‘labels’ to describe ourselves and others. These labels include terms like Republican, Democrat, Moderate, Right, Left, Liberal and Conservative. Unfortunately, if you ask 10 people to define exactly what their own political label means, only one can do it with any clarity. Tristan: Trump’s first 100 days prove America’s home improvement is not about reality show illusions

There are many home improvement reality shows on television today. Every episode, following completion of the project, culminates in the highly anticipated “reveal.” 

Eyes will light up, and tears are shed as homeowners overcome with joy, marvel at the new cabinetry that beautifully adorns the kitchen, an ultra-modern range that now offers a double oven, a smart refrigerator that automatically adds dairy products to the grocery list, and the old laminate countertops that were stained and riddled with chips and knife marks, have been replaced with breathtaking pristine granite. 

The homeowners beam with pride and are thrilled with the anticipation of cooking in this new culinary paradise.

In an immensely larger way, as we consider the actions of the first 100 days of President Trump’s second term, I suggest that a home improvement project is currently underway here in America, which I dub as “The United States of America Renovation Project.”
