Co-hosted by the Republican Women of Weld and the Lincoln Club of Colorado, the "Republican Rumble with a Twist" will be from 11 a.m. to about 5 p.m. today, June 1, at the Grizzly Rose, 5450 North S. Valley Hwy in Denver. Leading off the debates will be the 8th District Republican Primary at noon, featuring Gabe Evans and Janak Joshi. Yadira Caraveo (D-CO), according to a GOP polling memo showing the freshman lawmaker in a vulnerable position in one of the most competitive races of the 2024 cycle. Despite making history as the first Latina member to represent Colorado in Congress, a majority of voters in the district are either unfamiliar with Caraveo or have no opinion of her, according to the internal survey commissioned by the National Republican Congressional Committee.
