After Boulder firebombing, DHS revamps ICE tip line to stop future attacks

By Bryan Chai | The Western Journal After a horrific anti-Semitic attack last weekend, the Department of Homeland Security is “revamping” the way Americans can help prevent any future atrocities from happening again. On June 1, a peaceful pro-Israeli gathering calling for the continued release of hostages held by Hamas terrorists was violently attacked. A maniac wielding incendiary devices — the weapons have been described as both “flamethrower” and Molotov cocktail-like — attacked the group in Boulder, Colorado, injuring 12, two badly, in the process. Reports began circulating that the alleged perpetrator, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, was an Egyptian national who had overstayed his visa, making this a matter of national security, on top of it being a seeming hate crime. Supreme Court allows Trump to strip protections from some Venezuelans; deportations could follow

By AP | Ap Via Breitbart WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court on Monday allowed the Trump administration to strip legal protections from 350,000 Venezuelans, potentially exposing them to deportation. The court’s order, with only one noted dissent, puts on hold a ruling from a federal judge in San Francisco that kept in place Temporary Protected Status for the Venezuelans that would have otherwise expired last month. The status allows people already in the United States to live and work legally because their native countries are deemed unsafe for return due to natural disaster or civil strife. Trump directs federal agencies to ‘rebuild and open Alcatraz’

By Elizabeth Weibel | Breitbart President Donald Trump directed the Bureau of Prisons, Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to reopen and rebuild Alcatraz prison to house the “most ruthless and violent” criminals. In a post on Truth Social, Trump noted that when the United States was “a more serious Nation,” the government did not “hesitate to lock up the most dangerous criminals.” “REBUILD, AND OPEN ALCATRAZ!” Trump wrote. “For too long, America has been plagued by vicious, violent, and repeat Criminal Offenders, the dregs of society, who will never contribute anything other than Misery and Suffering. When we were a more serious Nation, in times past, we did not hesitate to lock up the most dangerous cr...

DHS officials request IRS share tax data on up to 7 million illegal immigrants

By Hayden Cunningham | The Post Millennial The Department of Homeland Security is seeking access to confidential tax records from the Internal Revenue Service in an effort to locate as many as 7 million people believed to be in the United States illegally, according to a report by the Washington Post. DHS officials have previously requested information on approximately 700,000 individuals who are subject to final deportation orders, asking the IRS to provide names and addresses. The size of the request later expanded, with DHS officials saying they would submit preliminary queries for about 2 million people, which then rose to 7 million. However, the two agencies have yet to reach an agreement on how much tax information the IRS is willing to disclose. La...

GS-14 DHS official admits department will defy Trump appointed Secretary Kristi Noem’s ‘marching orders’

By OMG Team | OMG Media Brandon Wright, a GS-14 Platform Services Manager for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), admitted that career officials within the department actively resist directives from political appointees, including newly appointed DHS Secretary Kristi Noem. “The truth is, we don’t let them [secretaries] get in our way,” Wright disclosed to an undercover O’Keefe Media journalist. He went on to explain the deeply entrenched bureaucratic resistance within DHS, likening it to a multi-layered septic system that filters out directives it does not align with. “There’s a lot of layers, like [in] government… By the time the actual marching orders get to me and below, we can filter it in a way that steadies the ship.” READ THE FULL STORY AT OMG MEDIA

Trump shooting task force says DHS, Secret Service haven’t produced docs on golf course incident

By Elizabeth Elkind  | Fox News The House Task Force investigating the assassination attempts on President-elect Trump's life has released its final report on Tuesday, detailing "preexisting conditions and leadership failures" that led to the deadly campaign rally in Pennsylvania in July. While the bipartisan panel was given ample information on that shooting, the report suggested requests for documents on the second attempt on Trump's life – this one at his Palm Beach golf course in September – were seemingly stonewalled. "The Task Force notes that as of the date of publication of this report, [the Department of Homeland Security], [U.S. Secret Service], FBI, and [Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives] have not produced any documents responsive to the Task...

DHS Chief Alejandro Mayorkas Announces Jobs Giveaway — for Migrants

By John Binder | Breitbart In the final weeks of President Joe Biden’s administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is announcing a jobs giveaway for newly arrived migrants with work permits. On Tuesday, Mayorkas announced a final rule from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that will allow millions of migrants, many of whom have been released into the U.S. interior by the Biden administration, to keep their work permits for up to 540 days when they seek a renewal. Migrants previously could renew their work permits for 180 days. For years, Democratic mayors had lobbied DHS to extend such automatic employment authorization for migrants. The rule will go into effect on Jan. 13, 2025. READ THE FULL STORY AT BREITBAR...

‘Stunning security failure’: U.S. agents miss Venezuelan gang tattoos in scan for refugee approvals

By  Stephen Dinan | Washington Times The Department of Homeland Security greenlighted refugee applications for Venezuelan gang members after immigration officers failed to spot their gang tattoos, The Washington Times has learned. Kevin Grigsby, head of refugee operations at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, said several members of the vicious Tren de Aragua gang were approved and made it to the U.S. border before a different agency spotted the tattoos and blocked them from entering. Experts said tattoos are a standard indicator of gang membership and expressed shock that USCIS was missing those red flags. Concerns have been heightened about TDA, whose members have been linked to a series of high-profile crimes. READ THE FULL STORY AT THE WASHINGTON TIME...
