Greene had secured a deal with leadership to bring her bill to the floor in exchange for her support of a rule advancing the National Defense Authorization Act last week. It passed 216-211. Three Democrats — Reps. Henry Cuellar (D-Texas), Don Davis (D-N.C.) and Vicente Gonzalez (D-Texas) — voted with most Republicans in favor and four Republicans — Reps. Trump DOJ Subpoenas Colorado Hospital in Gender Care Investigation

By John Ingold | The Colorado Sun Children’s Hospital Colorado, the state’s largest pediatric specialty hospital, has received a subpoena from the U.S. Department of Justice as part of an apparent investigation into gender-affirming care for transgender youth. The hospital received the subpoena this week. It did not disclose the contents or say whether the subpoena seeks patient records. “We are engaging outside counsel and evaluating it to determine how we should respond,” the hospital wrote in a statement Thursday. The Supreme Court has issued a major decision upholding Tennessee’s ban on so-called gender-affirming care, such as puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones, for minors. Its decision on June 18 will likely influence how states craft legislation and how other gender-related cases unfold in the legal system. In the case United States v.
