Loveland Sculptor Gifts Jefferson Statue to White House for America’s 250th Anniversary

By The Associated Press | The Colorado Sun Colorado sculptor George Lundeen gifts decades-old piece to White House as part of country’s 250th anniversary celebration. WASHINGTON — Instead of adding new roses, President Donald Trump’s White House Rose Garden is growing statues. And one of them comes courtesy of a well-known Loveland sculptor. Trump put statues of some of America’s founders in the garden just off the Oval Office after he replaced its plush lawn with a white stone patio, turning the historic outdoor space into a look-alike of the one at his Mar-a-Lago home and private club in Palm Beach, Florida. The bonds that cannot be dissolved

By Rocky Mountain Voice Editorial Board The Declaration of Independence opens by taking something apart. Before it reaches life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, it lays out why one people must "dissolve the political bands" that tie them to another. The founding act is a break. The signers put a tie of their own in its place. The last line is a pledge they made to each other, "our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor." EVERY Day In America Is ‘No Kings Day’—READ the U.S. Constitution

By Russ Minary | Guest Commentary, Rocky Mountain Voice “It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so.” Mark Twain may or may not have said it, but whoever did certainly had a valid point. Today in 2025, many people seem to know a lot that just ain’t so. Over the weekend, thousands of people gathered in cities across the U.S. for a series of “No Kings” rallies and protests. The NO KINGS website lists many partner organizations including marxists, socialists, communists, anti-Americans, Democrats, progressives, radical environmentalists, abortionists, anarchists and many others that oppose the lawful Constitutional authority and order of our Republics—some of whom advocate rebellion, insurrection, violence and the overthrow of...
