Griswold Joins Other States Asking DHS To Confirm ICE Will Stay Away From Polling Locations

By: Jacob Mauk | The Denver Gazette Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold announced Monday that the state has formally requested written confirmation from the Department of Homeland Security that ICE agents will not be stationed at polling locations during the 2026 election cycle, according to a news release. The letter comes a week after Kristi Noem, the former Secretary of Homeland Security, said, “There are no plans to have ICE officers at our polling locations.’ Noem has since been fired by President Donald Trump, who nominated Oklahoma Sen. FBI Affidavit Alleges Illegal Immigrant Voted In Five Presidential Elections Despite Deportation Order

By: Maisey Jefferson | The Federalist A noncitizen illegally present in the U.S. allegedly cast ballots in five presidential elections and falsely claimed to be a citizen when registering to vote, according to a document recently filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. An affidavit by FBI Special Agent Mickel McGann reveals that Mauritanian national Mahady Sacko was ordered to be deported in 2000. Since this removal order, however, records show Sacko voted in general elections in 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020, as well as the 2024 election for federal office, McGann said. ICE Operation In Lakewood Turns Violent As Suspect Rams Vehicles and Flees Into Apartment Building

By Christa Swanson | CBS Colorado A man has been accused of a hit-and-run in the Denver metro area involving two U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement vehicles. Around 9:58 a.m., Lakewood police were called to the 200 block of S. Ingalls Street. ICE agents reported that they were attempting to detain a suspect when that person rammed two of their vehicles with his car, injuring one of the agents. That suspect then left his car and entered a nearby apartment, according to a Lakewood PD spokesman. A crowd of people began gathering near the scene.
