Lopez will appear on the special election ballot in June with the candidate selected by the Democratic Party to decide who will serve the remainder of U.S. Rep. Ken Buck's unexpired term. Lauren Boebert shared her criticism over a $1.2 trillion spending bill in Congress, offered her positions on a variety of issues, discussed the observance of Easter and detailed her campaign in Colorado's 4th District during a grassroots call Tuesday evening. "I am angry and very frustrated, but do not believe vacating [on Speaker Mike Johnston] is a thing to do," Boebert said, of the $1.2 trillion bill delivered to members with little time to consume. Lauren Boebert’s son arrested in western Colorado in connection with string of vehicle break-ins

By The Colorado Sun The oldest son of U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert was in a western Colorado jail on Wednesday after being arrested in connection with a recent string of vehicle break-ins and property thefts. Tyler Jay Boebert, 18, was arrested Tuesday afternoon and is facing possible felony charges of criminal possession of identification documents involving multiple victims and conspiracy to commit a felony, the Rifle Police Department said in a statement. He also faces over 15 additional misdemeanor and petty offenses, it said. Jail records say other charges he is being held on include theft of less than $300, criminal possession of a financial device and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. By Sandra Fish | The Colorado Sun Lauren Boebert started the year with a large campaign cash advantage over her Republican primary opponents in Colorado’s 4th Congressional District, even as the congresswoman’s fundraising slowed in the last three months of 2023, according to federal campaign finance reports filed Wednesday. Some of Boebert’s opponents in the 4th District, which includes the Eastern Plains and sweeps into Loveland and Douglas County, received financial help from big-name GOP donors, while others injected money into their own campaigns.  The reports, covering federal campaign fundraising and spending from Oct. 1 through the end of the year, are the first filed since U.S. Rep.
