Hegseth Was Right: Trump’s Iran Strike Hit Harder Than the Media Wants You to Know

By Byron York | Washington Examiner HEGSETH IS RIGHT. This newsletter has often noted a peculiar feature of some media coverage of President Donald Trump: When Trump or Republicans say something, many reporters and commentators reflexively seek to knock it down. When Trump or Republicans say A, they immediately say not-A. Do Trump and his GOP allies say former President Joe Biden seems out of it? Then Biden must be just fine. On Thursday, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth offered his own description of the phenomenon when he was addressing media coverage of the effectiveness of the U.S. bombing attack on Iran’s nuclear weapons program. Trump has said the raid was a huge success and that U.S. bombers “completely demolished” and “obliterated” Iran’s nuclear sites. Almost immediately, som...

Trump calls CNN ‘scum,’ demands apology to military for Iran strike coverage

By Nicole Silverio | Daily Caller President Donald Trump called CNN and MSNBC “gutless losers” on Tuesday over their reporting on the bombing of Iran while taking questions about the conflict on the south lawn of the White House. CNN and MSNBC both raised questions about whether the B-2 bombs “completely and totally obliterated” the three nuclear facilities located outside of Tehran. Trump said that the outlets, which he referred to as “scum,” owed the B-2 pilots who put their lives on the line an apology. “I think it’s been completely demolished. I think that the reason we’re here is because those pilots, those B-2 pilots, did an unbelievable job,” Trump said while being aired by CNN. “And the fake news, CNN in particular, they’re trying to say ‘well, I agree that ...

PSYOP ALERT: CNN Pushes Panic Polls While Trump Holds Steady

By Matt Vespa | Townhall We know the Left is miserable. They trotted out in their thousands on that loser ‘No Kings’ Day, a nationwide protest event where the most unhinged and elderly of voters foamed at the mouth over President Trump. No one cared. Trump is still president, and we don’t have a king—congrats on your temper tantrum, liberals. In the newsroom, these clowns are clinging to some political misfortune to fall upon the president. Take Newsweek, which claims that the GOP is turning on Trump: Trump is showing signs of slippage within his own party, as a new polls reveal a noticeable drop in approval among Republican voters. The latest HarrisX/Harvard poll, conducted between June 11-12 among 2,097 registered voters, shows his approval among Republican voters has droppe...

Progressive Pundits Push False Narrative After Tragedy

By Michael Schwarz | Commentary, The Western Journal Establishment elites love cheap labor. They always have. Thus, the establishment media routinely gaslights readers and viewers about illegal immigration, a prime source of cheap labor. Now and then, however, even the establishment media cannot help accidentally telling the truth. On Sunday, for instance, in the opening paragraph of a story meant to evoke pathos for the “victims” of last week’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid on the Glenn Valley Foods meat packing plant in Omaha, Nebraska, which netted 76 illegal immigrants, NBC News inadvertently undermined the leftist establishment’s entire immigration narrative. “Every seat in the waiting area of Glenn Valley Foods was occupied with people filling out job applicati...

Garbo: The Left’s silence says more than their spin ever could

By C. J. Garbo | Guest Commentary, Rocky Mountain Voice They don’t talk about egg prices anymore. Inflation has disappeared from their daily talking points. You’ll hear nothing about tariffs, the stock market, or the border crisis they once screamed about nonstop. Why? Because those issues - once weaponized against President Trump - have all improved under his leadership. And with Trump back in office, once again tackling these challenges head-on, the left has lost the argument - and they know it. Every one of these “crises” was once a cudgel. The media elevated each one with the clear goal of assigning blame to President Trump. Yet every time, Trump didn’t run from the issue - he took it head-on, and in full public view. Trump Faced the Fire - and Fixed What They Broke Let’...

Joondeph: Trump’s new base isn’t who the media told you it was

By Dr. Brian C. Joondeph | Commentary, Rasmussen Reports Conventional wisdom, meaning corporate media, portrays President Donald Trump’s supporters as white supremacists, xenophobes, and racists. They are extras in the movie Deliverance, with two teeth and a below room temperature IQ. Yet Trump won reelection easily last November, gaining support from more than just the Billy Bobs in Appalachia. Where does Trump’s support stand now that he has been president for three months, allowing everyone to see his presidential agenda clearly? Instead of examining legacy media’s commissioned polls, which aim more to shape public opinion than to reflect it, let’s refer to Rasmussen Reports, one of the most accurate polling organizations. In late April, as Trump’s second quarter i...

Hancock: Manufacturing chaos is the progressive blueprint for power

By Michael A. Hancock | Commentary, Substack By now, the pattern is as familiar as it is sinister. A protest erupts into violence. A crisis becomes an opportunity. An institution is denounced, discredited, and dismantled. And always, always, someone else is to blame.  This is not coincidence. It is strategy.  We are witnessing the methodical deployment of chaos as a political narrative—a calculated tool of progressive activism that feeds on division, cultivates instability, and then offers itself as the only remedy. The idea that chaos can be wielded as a political weapon is not new. Lenin believed revolution must spring from crisis. Saul Alinsky advised radicals to “rub raw the people's resentments.”  But the modern American Left has refined the process into ...

Kittle: New York Magazine crops out truth with young conservative hit piece

By M.D. Kittle | Commentary, The Federalist Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: A leftist “news” reporter walks into a conservative event and omits some key details in a hit piece attacking President Donald Trump and his supporters.  Even for New York Magazine, one of the bigger jokes in American journalism, the fact-fractured story headlined, “The Cruel Kids’ Table,” is a lesson in the excesses of the Pravda press.  The hit job, written by the mag’s feature reporter Brock Colyar, is supposed to be a first-person account of inauguration weekend parties filled with “young, confident, and casually cruel Trumpers who, after conquering Washington, have their sights set on America.” It’s the same tired — and false — screed portraying the MAGA movement as privil...

Gaines: Colorado newsrooms promote left-wing ‘civic engagement’

By Cory Gaines | Commentary, Complete Colorado Wanting to support your community and get civically engaged?  Do you also like warm cookies?  I suppose the Venn Diagram for these two things would likely show a lot of overlap.  I’m right there in the middle anyway. In what is surely a startling coincidence–how could it be otherwise?–two articles appeared within 5 days of each other in Colorado Public Radio and the Colorado Sun.  The former ostensibly telling people how to get involved in their communities, and the latter a glowing profile of a nonprofit focused on civic engagement.  Both, of course, have at their center the group Warm Cookies of the Revolution.  Friendly and homey name, no? Kittle: All things considered, lawmakers say it’s time to defund NPR

By M.D. KITTLE | The Federalist All things considered, National Public Radio represents the left wing of American journalism. Conservatives, of course, have known that for years. It took a veteran NPR editor with an ax to grind and some resurfaced tweets to drive home the point that the “Fresh Air” of public radio stinks with leftist bias.  So the question is: Why is the American taxpayer paying for this Pravda?   Some lawmakers are saying enough is enough.  U.S. Rep. Bob Good, R-Va., is introducing a bill to defund NPR. The bill’s draft, exclusively provided to The Federalist, prohibits federal funds in general from going to the radio network.  READ THE FULL STORY AT THE FEDERALIST
