Fauci Invokes Fifth Amendment More Than 100 Times as Senate Eyes Contempt Vote

By: Kaelan Deese | Washington Examiner Dr. Anthony Fauci invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination more than 100 times on Wednesday, a move legal experts described as strategically sound despite the politically damaging optics. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), chairman of the Senate homeland security and governmental affairs committee, scheduled an Aug. 5 vote on a resolution to hold the nation’s former leading expert on the COVID-19 pandemic in contempt of Congress. “It’s against the law to obstruct an investigation of Congress,” Paul told Fauci. “There will be repercussions for your refusal to testify.” Two legal experts told the Washington Examiner following the hearing that the preemptive pardon Fauci received from former President Jo...

Fauci invoked the Fifth. The COvid Chronicles recorded what Colorado lived.

By Rocky Mountain Voice Editorial Board Sen. Bernie Moreno asked former White House chief medical adviser Anthony Fauci on Wednesday to turn around and look at Americans seated behind him who stood after Moreno asked whether they had been shamed, fired or otherwise harmed during the government response to COVID-19. “All you have to do is look up from your lawyers and look at the people who were absolutely shamed for saying what we know now to be the truth,” the Ohio Republican said. “You can’t even look at them?” Fauci did not turn toward the audience. He briefly turned only after his attorney tapped him on the shoulder, spoke with his attorney, then faced forward again. Moreno then asked, “That's a question. Are you able to look at them?” Fauci replied, “On the advice o...

Newly Released Messages Reignite Questions About Fauci And COVID Origins

By: Hans Mahncke | The Federalist The greatest threat to public trust comes when powerful people and institutions use their authority to suppress the truth. The latest revelations from Sen. Rand Paul’s investigation into the origin of COVID expose what may be one of the most consequential scientific deceptions in history. The 1,123 pages of private Slack messages exchanged among the authors of the highly influential “Proximal Origin” paper reveal that the scientists who publicly declared that a laboratory origin of Covid was not plausible privately held a very different view. They repeatedly acknowledged that a laboratory origin remained possible, discussed flaws in their own arguments, and struggled to defend the natural origin theory. In ...

Michigan Senator Draws Fire Over SAVE Act Comments On Election Integrity

By: M.D. Kittle | Commentary, The Federalist Michigan Dem Sen. Elissa Slotkin said the SAVE America Act would make it ‘hard for any Democrat in any state to win an election.’ Leftist Sen. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., has lost a lot of weight in recent months. She hasn’t gained any integrity.  At a town hall with constituents, the Michigan Democrat said the quit part out loud, explaining why her party opposes the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, also known as the SAVE America Act. The legislative package would require documentary proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in federal elections and photo identification to cast a ballot, and it would demand states clean up their dirty voter rolls. As The Federalist has reported, the ...

GOP Senators Push DOJ Review of Fauci Pardon and Potential Prosecution

By Katherine Pugh and Amanda Head | Just the News Paul noted that Fauci's spin operation was not only necessary for political purposes, but for survival, because in Fauci's capacity as a health official, he funded research to humanize the virus and re-adapted it to make it more contagious to humans. wo top U.S. senators are urging the Trump Justice Department to challenge the legality of President Joe Biden's pardon of Dr. Anthony Fauci and to pursue criminal charges against the nation's former top doc during the COVID-19 pandemic. "I think we should challenge the pardon, because it's an extraordinary pardon. It's a pardon not for a specific crime, and it's a pardon over a 10 year period. It's the same that he got the same thing Hunter Biden got," Sen. Rand Paul told...

Fiscal responsibility may not be the most crowded road, but it’s one I’ve walked year after year — and this holiday season will be no different.
