Archuleta: The ways in which a 30-day Pride month is counterproductive

A month-long celebration of Pride is counterproductive. I say this as a gay man who, at one time, was very active in the gay rights movement and organizing Pride Festivals. Over the past several years, I have rapidly been drawn to this conclusion. After 30 days of rainbows, the world is not a better place for the LGBT community, nor are we more unified with society.
