MTG to Chair DOGE Subcommittee to Work with Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy

Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) will chair the subcommittee tasked with working with Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to slash wasteful spending throughout the federal government. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) will create the new Delivering on Government Efficiency (DOGE) subcommittee and tap Greene to lead it in January, Fox News Digital reported Thursday. Musk and Ramaswamy were tasked by Trump to lead DOGE to displace the power of the federal bureaucracy and return it to the “people we elect [to] run the government,” Musk and Ramaswamy outlined Wednesday in a Wall Street Journal op-ed. The American embassy compound in western Kyiv was closed on Wednesday morning, with a convoy of diplomatic vehicles apparently evacuating the buildings. A message posted by the embassy staff stated it had received “specific information of a potential significant air attack” that was thought to be planned for Wednesday. By Neil Munro | Breitbart Border hawk Thomas Homan is getting a prize border security job in the new administration, incoming President Donald Trump said in a message via his Truth Social media network. Homan is an experienced border officer who served as acting chief of the vital Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency in 2017 and 2018. The agency is responsible for finding, arresting, and deporting illegal migrants. Homan strongly supported Trump during the 2024 election.
