Gov. Jared Polis flip-flops on live TV over Harris ‘supporting’ southern border wall

By Hailey Gomez | Daily Caller Democratic Colorado Gov. Jared Polis was heard floundering Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” over Vice President Kamala Harris “supporting” the construction of the U.S. southern border wall. Harris has faced repeated criticism from Republicans in recent weeks for failing to explain her flip-flops on numerous policies she campaigned on in 2020. After ABC’s Jonathan Karl pressed Polis on Harris reversing her position on funding the southern border wall, Polis claimed Democrats “have always been supportive of building barriers and walls.” “Look, this is another issue that as it gets into the public discourse is very misleading. Democrats in general, Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, you know, Barack Obama, have always been supportive of building barriers an...

Biden claims Netanyahu is not doing enough to secure a deal with terrorists

By Danielle Wallace  | Fox News President Biden claimed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is not doing enough to secure a hostage deal with Hamas terrorists. Biden made the remarks to reporters before heading into the Situation Room, where he and Vice President Harris are convening with a hostage deal negotiating team following the murder of 23-year-old Israeli-American Hersh Goldberg-Polin and five other hostages by Hamas on Saturday. Jonathan Dekel-Chen, the father of an Israeli-American hostage still being held by Hamas, pleaded earlier Monday for the U.S. and Israel to broker a deal "with Satan." READ MORE AT FOX NEWS

Johnson: The Top 7 Tim Walz’s Lies

By Ben Johnson  | Daily Signal CNN thinks it understands what sets Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz apart from the average politician: honesty. “[W]hat Walz has—and it’s rare in politics these days—is that he’s totally comfortable in his own skin. He knows who he is. He’s authentic. And he doesn’t try to be someone else,” said CNN’s Chris Cillizza. Yet Walz stands accused of purveying a string of lies, errors, and prevarications stretching back to his earliest days in politics, fibbing about everything from his military service to whether he won an obscure award from the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce as a 29-year-old man. Here is a far-from-exhaustive list of the mistruths Walz has communicated. READ MORE AT THE DAILY SIGNAL...

Family eulogizes murdered hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin as thousands mourn in Jerusalem

By Olivia Land | New York Post The heartbroken family of slain Israeli-American hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin paid tribute to their bright, “beautiful” son and brother at his packed funeral service in Jerusalem. “Hersh, we all failed you. You would not have failed you. You would have pushed harder to justice,” Jon Polin addressed the late 23-year-old during his address at the Givat Shaul cemetery. Polin evoked his son’s spirit with a Torah verse that called on one to find a close teacher and counselor, and to give all people the benefit of the doubt. READ MORE AT THE NEW YORK POST

RNC scores election law victories in these swing states. Here’s what that could mean in November

By Fred Lucas | The Daily Signal The Republican National Committee this week filed election-related lawsuits in Michigan and North Carolina, coming off a Supreme Court victory last week over election procedures in Arizona.  An RNC initiative called Protect the Vote has filed more than 100 lawsuits across 25 states and recruited more than 150,000 lawyers and volunteer poll watchers across the country.  “We are defending the law and fighting for commonsense security measures that benefit all Americans—like stopping illegal immigrants from voting, mail ballot safeguards, voter ID measures, stopping leftist dark money, and cleaning the voter rolls,” Gineen Bresso, director of election integrity for the Republican National Committee, told The Daily S...

‘She Ain’t Made For This’: Harris Aides, White House Staffers Vilify Her In Expository Book

By Robert McGreevy | Daily Caller A book written by progressives, about progressives, blasted Kamala Harris at a time when political observers speculated whether she would be replaced as Joe Biden’s vice president. In it, White House aides outlined Harris’s inability to define a political agenda and her total reliance on personality. Now, with Harris in a tight race for the presidency with Donald Trump, the book has been resurfaced eight months after its release. As recently as the summer of 2023, a cavalcade of Democratic party superstars like California Gov. Gavin Newsom were brandishing their leadership credentials as calls grew for Biden to step aside. Once that time passed, the left-wing whisper machine turned on Harris and her historically abysmal favorability numbers. RE...

By M.D. Kittle | The Federalist Kamala Harris and her running mate sat down with CNN’s Dana Bash for their first semi-substantive interview since Joe Biden’s political wake. Gov. Tim Walz, D-Minn., has made a political career out of “misspeaking.” Why stop now?   The No. 2 on the Democratic Party’s forced dream team campaign ticket, featuring the joyous empty vessel Vice President Kamala Harris, was back to doing what he seems to do best Thursday night. After several weeks of evading actual questions, Harris and her running mate sat down with CNN’s Dana Bash for the first semi-substantive interview of their honeymoon campaign — more than a month after President Joe Biden’s political wake.  READ THE FULL STORY AT THE FEDERALIST
