Virginia Democrats Abandon Affordability Promises With Massive Tax and Policy Push

By Jarrett Stepman | Commentary, The Daily Signal Remember when Democrats spent an entire election cycle talking about “affordability” as if that’s all they care about now? Well, if you bought that, then there’s a socialist mayor in New York who’s got a bridge to sell you. But New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani isn’t actually the one completely blowing up the affordability farce, it’s assumedly “moderate” Virginia Democrats. Much of the media touted Abigail Spanberger as the moderate Democrat gubernatorial candidate who could lead the party back to power. The Wall Street Journal even called her the “anti-Mamdani.” “Abigail Spanberger is seen as a potential moderate face for her struggling party,” read The Wall Street Journal’s subheadline. ...

Tulsi Gabbard Says Church Attack Shows Democrats’ Disdain For Religious Freedom

By: M.D. Kittle | The Federalist The anti‑ICE mob ‘protest’ inside a St. Paul church ‘is the latest example of their disrespect for religious freedom,’ Gabbard wrote on X. When Tulsi Gabbard announced in 2022 that she was leaving the Democratic Party, she made her departure, in part, a matter of faith.  “The Democrats of today are hostile to people of faith and spirituality,” the former Hawaii congresswoman said in a video statement at the time.  More than three years later, Gabbard, who now serves as President Donald Trump’s Director of National Security and as a thorn in the side of the deep state, suggests things haven’t improved any on the leftist front.  Gabbard blasted her old party on X Tuesday, doing what so many of...

17 Republicans Break Ranks to Advance Jeffries Led Obamacare Extension

By George Caldwell | The Daily Signal The House of Representatives passed a three-year extension of COVID-19-era premium tax credits on Thursday, as a group of Republicans defied House leadership to back the Democrat-led measure. The extension passed by a 230-196 margin, with 17 Republicans joining 213 Democrats in voting for a policy which Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, R-La., and the majority of the House Republican conference has opposed for months. Five Republicans did not vote. A group of moderate Republicans joined Democrats to successfully control the floor and pass the legislation.  READ THE FULL ARTICLE AT THE DAILY SIGNAL

Riley Gaines Warns Conservative Infighting Could Hand Power Back to the Radical Left

By: Riley Gaines | Commentary, Fox News Despite our solid advantage in the political arena, some on the right seem to have already forgotten who the real adversary is. That's a major mistake The week before the 2025 election, the Democratic Party’s undisputed leader, New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, got a bit sidetracked while campaigning on the trail for the radical Zohran Mamdani in New York City.  After simply pointing out how destructive the new radical left is shaping up to be, as many did, she decided to rage-tweet at me for my well-known stance that men shouldn’t be in women’s sports. Her claim was essentially that if I just swam faster in college, I would have beaten the man I was swimming against. https://twitter....

Colorado Lawmakers Brace for Wave of Primary Challenges Ahead of 2026 Elections

By: Marianne Goodland | Colorado Politics As the 2026 election cycle begins, an unusually large number of Colorado lawmakers — many appointed through the vacancy process — are facing primary challenges that reflect deepening divisions within both major parties. But it isn’t only open seats that candidates are looking at: at least 14 current lawmakers, almost all in the House, are facing primary challenges from within their own parties. Six are lawmakers who began their legislative service through the vacancy process, including four who gained their seats in the past year.  On Monday, former Rep. Amy Parks, R-Loveland, announced she would challenge Rep. Ron Weinberg in House District 51. Parks was the partner of the late House Minority Leader Hugh McKean.&nb...

Ben Nighthorse Campbell Longtime Colorado Lawmaker Dies at 92

By Jesse Sarles | CBS News Former Sen. Ben Nighthorse Campbell, a Northern Cheyenne tribal chief who became a prominent American politician, has died. He was 92. His daughter Shanan Campbell confirmed to CBS News that her father died Tuesday at his home on a ranch in southwestern Colorado surrounded by family members.   Campbell served in Colorado's congressional delegation across three different decades. He started out as a member of the Democratic Party and was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in the 1980s. In the mid-1990s, three years after his election to the U.S. Senate, he decided to leave the Democrats and switch to the Republican Party. He served two terms as senator and then retired in the 2000s because of what he said were concerns...

The Top Lies of 2025

By: M.D. Kittle | The Federalist From the ‘Maryland man’ to that ‘misleading edit,’ liberals flooded the zone with falsities aimed again at stopping Trump. They failed. If it felt like 2025 was just one big psyop orchestrated by the Democrat Party and its accomplice media stooges, that’s because in many ways, it was.  Learning nothing from the political and ratings beatings they took in 2024, the left and its corporate media allies doubled down on twisting the truth during the first year of Trump 2.0. Here are the top 25 lies of 2025:  1. The ‘Maryland Man’ Illegal immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia has allegedly made a career out of smuggling fellow illegal aliens. Law enforcement officials in 2019 found him with “rolls of cas...

Funding trail reveals Soros-linked organizations behind anti-Trump ‘illegal orders’ campaign

By Matt Vespa | Commentary, Townhall If it doesn’t resonate, it sucks. If it lands you being interviewed for the FBI for maybe peddling a seditious conspiracy, it sucks. If pollsters say it sucks, it was an attack line that was never meant to be successful. Several Democrats have been peddling these cockamamie attack lines regarding our military. They’ve been urging our service members not to follow so-called illegal orders from President Trump. Have any been issued? No. It’s a shoddy political stunt, and it’s reportedly being bankrolled by none other than groups tied to George Soros:  https://twitter.com/DataRepublican/status/1993582203151028534?s=20 https://twitter.com/EricLDaugh/status/1993684458961088599?s=20 READ THE FULL COMMENTARY AT TOWNHALL Editor...

Crow Draws Fire After Democrats Urge Troops to Reject ‘Illegal’ Orders

By: Thelma Grimes and The Washington Examiner | Colorado Politics President Donald Trump suggested on Thursday that Democratic veterans in Congress who urged military service members to “refuse illegal orders” from the Trump administration should receive capital punishment. In a Truth Social post, Trump wrote, “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!” The president’s message was aimed at several Democrats, including Colorado U.S. Rep. Jason Crow, along with with Sens. Elissa Slotkin, D-MI, and Mark Kelly, D-AZ, in addition to Reps. Maggie Goodlander, D-NH, Chris Deluzio, D-PA, and Chrissy Houlahan, D-PA. In a video posted Tuesday, the Democratic lawmakers told military and intelligence personnel to disobey orders that they allege are “unlawfu...

Trump said release the Epstein files—now Congress agrees

By RMV Editorial Board Congress finally did what Washington avoided for years. The House went 423 to 1 and the Senate—unanimously. Washington doesn’t move like that unless people feel something shifting under their feet. Whatever held this shut is starting to give way. For years Democratic leaders and their media allies pushed the idea that Jeffrey Epstein was a Trump problem. If Epstein’s name came up, Trump’s name came next. It was a neat little narrative that kept uncomfortable questions away from Democrats.  Then Congress began releasing documents, and the story stopped cooperating. The clearest political fingerprints on the Epstein files now belong to Democrats, not Trump. The evidence shows Epstein’s network cultivating political allies, guiding congressional questio...
