Fact-Checking Polis at the Democratic Convention: Holding Him Accountable Since Others Won’t

By Colorado Peak Politics Having completed his Comic Con duties in Colorado, Gov. Polis is now at the Democrat National Convention where he is being celebrated as the newest member of the progressive brat pack whilst flacking for Kamala. He made the obligatory appearance on MSNBC to hype the Democrat Party and the ascension of their unelected nominee to protect that kind of “democracy.” Since no one else is bothering to fact check the crazy claims being spewed from this side of the political aisle, Peak is taking up the challenge. Poll: Trump has gained since 2020 in Black, Hispanic demos but race is a dead heat

By BRIAN PORTER | Rocky Mountain Voice When the Democrat National Convention closes tonight in Chicago, it could be an all-out sprint to the Nov. 5 finish line to determine who will become the next President of the United States. A new Cook Political Report national polling average, re-released Wednesday for the first time since Joe Biden's exit and Kamala Harris' entry, finds the race to be a virtual dead heat. The CPR average takes into consideration 12 traditional media polls, most of which lean to the political left, and nine online or larger panel polls. Harris, who had yet prior to her acceptance speech Thursday to share policy on her website, is leading Donald Trump by less than 1%. With all polls considered, Harris is favored by 47.6% and Trump by 46.7%. The CPR average...

GOP senators want to know who funds Pro-Palestinian protests, Biden Admin brushes off inquiry

By Jake Smith | Daily Caller The Biden administration brushed off a top GOP lawmaker’s request for information regarding organizations backing pro-Palestinian protests, according to documents obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation. Pro-Palestinian protests and riots have surged throughout the country for months, most recently at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chigaco this week. Republican Sen. Joni Ernst of Iowa and 15 other senators wrote to the IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel in May urging the agency to open an investigation into nonprofit organizations supporting certain pro-Palestinian groups and movements, and whether those organizations’ support jeopardized their tax-exempt status. (RELATED: Gov. McGhee White: Earth to Democrats, why can’t you stop trying to appease the worst of Gen Z

By Kaylee McGhee White| The Washington Examiner The Democratic National Convention has barely begun, and it is already marred by liberal lunacy and protests from anti-Israel radicals, both of which are being driven by the very voters Democrats are trying to court: leftist Gen Zers. Vice President Kamala Harris, who, barring yet another intraparty coup, will be coronated this week as the party’s presidential nominee, seems to believe that success at the polls this November depends on winning over my generation of young voters. In fact, she seems to have handed over her entire campaign strategy to fresh-out-of-college 20-year-olds who think memes and “vibes” are an acceptable replacement for policy and substance.  READ THE FULL STORY AT THE WASHIN...

The Free Press: In her own basement strategy, how long can Kamala Harris avoid the press?

By The Editors | Commentary, The Free Press It has been a month since Vice President Kamala Harris became the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. And a glorious month it’s been for Democrats, with an energized party, large, enthusiastic crowds, and adoring press coverage. “Our next president brings the joy,” said Tim Walz, her vice-presidential choice, at a rally in Detroit. rats, with an energized party, large, enthusiastic crowds, and adoring press coverage. “Our next president brings the joy,” said Tim Walz, her vice-presidential choice, at a rally in Detroit. But with all the kumbaya—despite fears of a 1968 reprise, the Dems have put on a mostly drama-free show in Chicago—Harris has avoided saying a single substantive thing, either about her record...

After no policy detail and only brief, rare media exposure, Harris will accept nomination

By Wendy Husebø | Breitbart Vice President Kamala Harris will accept the Democrats’ nomination on Thursday without sitting for one interview, giving one press conference, or providing many policy details since joining the race 32 days ago — July 21, 2024. The strategy is notable for three reasons. First, it is a rinse and repeat of President Joe Biden’s 2020 “basement” strategy to avoid public scrutiny, which counters the multitude of exchanges the media typically conduct when presidential candidates enter races. Second, the strategy underscores the Democrats’ perceived worry about their candidate’s likability and ability to speak off the cuff about policies without delivering a devastating gaffe. More is here on Harris’s word salads. READ THE FULL ...

In epic online troll, Trump campaign creates policy website for Kamala Harris, citing her lack of one

By Steven Nelson | New York Post Donald Trump’s campaign slammed Vice President Kamala Harris Wednesday for still lacking a policy page on her campaign website — and created one for her as she prepares to deliver her Democratic presidential nomination acceptance speech Thursday. “Kamala Harris has yet to tell voters what her policies are, so we thought we’d help them out. Kamala Harris wants to open the borders, raise taxes, and free criminals,” Trump spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said. The former president’s campaign directed readers of its press release to the new website kamala2024policies.com for a rundown of some of the Democratic candidate’s more controversial policy stances over the years. Trump: Under Harris, Biden ‘grocery price up 21.6%, rent up 22%, electricity up 31.7% ‘

By Jennifer Harper  | The Washington Times Former President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign is rolling out some compelling numbers when it comes to the U.S. economy. “Under President Trump, for the first time in 70 years, our nation achieved energy independence and was on the verge of global energy dominance. Under President Trump, the typical family of four was saving $2,500 a year in lower energy prices thanks to the shale oil and gas revolution alone,” the campaign said in a lengthy analysis released on Monday. “President Trump believes that by unleashing American energy, we can once again make American energy and electricity the most affordable and reliable in the world. Kamala Harris, on the other hand, wants to make life as difficult as possible for Americans. The pr...

Budget watchdog: Harris’ economic plan would add over $1.7T to national debt

By Eric Revell  | Fox Business A key part of Vice President Kamala Harris' newly released economic agenda would add $1.7 trillion to America's growing national debt, according to a budget watchdog. The plan, dubbed an "Agenda to Lower Costs for American Families," was released Friday as Harris lays out her platform in her campaign for president. It includes expansions of the Child Tax Credit and Earned Income Tax Credit, as well as an extension of the health insurance premium subsidies under the Affordable Care Act (aka ObamaCare) that are due to expire at the end of next year. It would also establish a new $25,000 tax credit for first-time homebuyers, expand tax credits for building affordable housing, create a $40 billion housing innovation fund, and seek to lower prescription d...

Sloan: Who loses if Harris wins?

By Kelly Sloan | Commentary, Rocky Mountain Voice Poor Joe Biden. I mean, really, one has to feel at least a little sorry for the guy. One minute the entire Democratic establishment (including, of course, the media) is wallowing in despair over their fortunes this November with Biden remaining at the helm; within a matter of hours, all is sunshine and light in Democrat World, now that Biden --  once the revered elder stateman of the Democratic left, “Joe from Scranton” who could do no wrong in the eyes of the Party and the New York Times  -- has been shunted aside.  That adulatory exuberance and reverential devotion is now being showered on Kamala Harris and her new sidekick Tim Walz. Everyone, and I mean everyone, within the Democratic universe if positively giddy tha...
