MAGA baby savings accounts part of pro-family ‘one, big, beautiful bill’

By Libby Emmons | The Post Millennial The Trump administration's One, Big, Beautiful Bill currently making its way through Congress is being touted as pro-family legislation by the White House, in no small part because of the provision for MAGA baby savings account. This allows families to take a tax deduction in order to use that money to set up savings accounts for their babies. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt spoke about the provision during an early morning briefing, saying "This one big, beautiful bill is also pro-family. It will increase the child tax credit to $2,500 per child, establish optional savings account for newborn babies with a $1,000 credit added and strengthen paid family leave." "This bill also delivers historic tax relief to America's s...

Hanson: Trump’s counterrevolution is only beginning

By Victor David Hanson | The Free Press, Commentary No prior modern Republican president has sought to launch a counterrevolution aimed at reversing the economic, political, cultural, social, and military progressive trajectory of the modern era. Trump has done just that—and in his first 100 days—in a comprehensive fashion that perhaps surpasses the ambitious agendas of even the first three months of Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal or Ronald Reagan’s efforts to unleash the American free market and win the Cold War. Joondeph: This is no time for MAGA to go wobbly

By Dr. Brian C. Joondeph | Commentary, American Thinker British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher once reprimanded President George H.W. Bush with: "This is no time to go wobbly." A variation of those words, for MAGA now, seem appropriate. Thatcher's words occurred in 1990 when Bush considered how to respond to Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Kuwait – whether to adopt a military response or not. Today, there is an invasion of another sort, President Donald Trump, DOGE, and the MAGA coalition mounting a full-on attack on the international deep state, globalists, and New World Order, the latter promoted by that same President Bush. Trump’s assault spans multiple fronts, both foreign and domestic, as well as economic and social issues. America’s Southern border is nearly cl...

MAGA influencers allegedly rewarded to publicly oppose RFK Jr. initiative to remove soda from SNAP benefits

By Timothy Sekerak | Daily Caller Multiple high-profile influencers associated with Make America Great Again (MAGA) have been accused of taking payments to oppose the Health and Human Services (HHS) initiative to remove soda from food stamps. This debacle started Saturday when a thread on X from Nick Sortor appeared to show several influencers were accepting compensation for posts made pushing back against the federal government going after soda products being offered through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). “Over the past 48 hours, several large supposedly MAGA-aligned ‘influencers’ posted almost identical talking points fed to them, convincing you MAHA was out of line for not wanting soda purchases with food stamps (SNAP),” Sortor writes. Tom Hanks roasted over ‘disgusting’ portrayal of Trump supporter at ‘SNL’ 50th anniversary special

By Patrick Reilly | New York Post America’s sweetheart Tom Hanks was crucified by conservatives over his “disgusting” portrayal of a simple, Trump-supporting racist on the “Saturday Night Live” 50th anniversary special. The two-time Academy Award winner returned to the stage Sunday night as “Doug” — a dumb, MAGA hat-wearing contestant on the recurring bit “Black Jeopardy,” where the butt of the joke is Hanks’ character and the black contestants discovering their similarities. During the sketch, Doug, who first appeared on the comedy show in 2016, refuses to shake hands with the game show host, Darnell Hayes, played by “SNL” longtimer Kenan Thompson. The historic importance of Greenland for U.S. national security as debate over island’s future roars on

By Liz Friden , Jennifer Griffin  | Fox News As Donald Trump Jr. made a surprise visit to Greenland this week, President-elect Donald Trump's rhetoric is getting more serious about buying Denmark's Arctic territory. The president-elect did not rule out using military coercion to gain control of Greenland in a press conference at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday. "No, I can't assure you on either of those two," Trump said, when asked if he would rule out using military or economic coercion to gain control of Greenland. "We need it for national security. That's for the free world. I'm talking about protecting the free world," he continued. Meanwhile, Denmark's leaders remain adamant the Arctic territory is not for sale. "We have a clear interest in that it is the U.S. that plays a large r...

Trump confirms he’s sending son Don Jr. to help ‘MAKE GREENLAND GREAT AGAIN!’

By Patrick Reilly | New York Post President-elect Donald Trump confirmed he is sending eldest son Don Jr. to Greenland as part of his efforts to make it part of the US — despite repeated denials it is for sale. Trump confirmed the fact-finding trip while sharing video of a Greenlander putting on a red Make America Great Again hat and asking the incoming US president to “buy us.” “I am hearing that the people of Greenland are ‘MAGA,’” Trump posted on his Truth Social late Monday. Commentary: The H-1B program is badly in need of reform

By National Review It’s in our national interest to skim exceptionally gifted people from other countries, but the current system has been exploited. Well, that, as they say, escalated quickly. Over Christmas, posts on X by Elon Musk and his allies in the tech sector in support of the H-1B visa program drew a backlash from MAGA accounts and created a roiling intra-right debate on immigration. If you ignore a few bigots who richly deserve it, the debate was a nice stocking stuffer for anyone who enjoys factional fights and heated discussion of the finer points of U.S. visa programs Count us in, but the two sides were largely talking past each other, or, at least, there’s an easy way to reconcile the best points of each side. Seeking to clarify himself under fire, Musk said he on...

Trump’s Silicon Valley advisor pick pits MAGA loyalists against tech bros led by Musk, Ramaswamy

By Robert McGreevy | Daily Caller The GOP is tearing itself apart over a heated multi-day immigration debate, kicked off after President-elect Trump nominated Indian national Sriram Krishnan as a senior advisor on artificial intelligence. Trump appointed Krishnan on Dec. 22. While the tech community lauded the pick, many MAGA loyalists criticized it harshly. Chief among their complaints was Krishnan’s past advocacy to remove current country caps on skilled legal immigration. READ THE FULL STORY AT THE DAILY CALLER

Trump inner circle shares McDonald’s meal as Donald Jr. jokes ‘Make America Healthy Again starts tomorrow’

By Stephen Sorace | Fox News President-elect Trump and members of his inner circle shared a McDonald’s meal aboard Trump’s private plane, with Donald Trump Jr. posting a photo Sunday morning and joking that the Trump campaign’s mission to make Americans healthier will have to wait a day. Trump and his entourage included Elon Musk, House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., Donald Trump Jr. and, perhaps most surprisingly, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Trump’s pick for Health and Human Services secretary. Kennedy, an outspoken critic of processed foods, was pictured with McDonald’s food and a Coca-Cola. Trump Jr. captioned the photo, "Make America Healthy Again starts TOMORROW." READ THE FULL STORY AT FOX NEWS
