Daytime news host Neil Cavuto leaving Fox News after 28 years with the network

Cavuto, one of the original hosts on Fox News, has hosted his program, “Your World,” since the network’s launch in 1996 and also hosts “Cavuto Coast to Coast” on the Fox Business Network and “Cavuto Live” on Saturdays. The host’s last day at the network is reportedly Thursday, which he intends to announce on his program later in the afternoon, Mediaite first reported. The 1,574 page bill, known as a continuing resolution (CR), contains language allowing for a cost of living adjustment (COLA), which would give members of Congress a pay raise for the first time since 2009. This pay increase for Congress comes as many lawmakers’ constituents are struggling to make ends meet as inflation has skyrocketed under President Joe Biden’s administration. Manhattan jury finds Daniel Penny not guilty in NYC subway chokehold death

Marine veteran Penny, 26, placed 30-year-old Neely in a chokehold after the older man began acting erratically on a New York City subway, according to law enforcement. Witnesses said Neely, a homeless man, was yelling and acting erratically on the F train after boarding, adding that they felt threatened by his behavior. Prosecutors said Penny held Neely in a chokehold for approximately six minutes. The more serious charge of second-degree manslaughter was dismissed last week after the jury was hung.
