Kirk: To secure the White House in 2024, we must win low-propensity voters

By CHARLIE KIRK | The Daily Caller As the media world and D.C. insiders become increasingly transfixed by the fallout from President Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance, it becomes more important than ever that the conservative movement remains steadfastly focused on the most important things — namely, registering voters and chasing their ballots. This is the hard work that wins elections in our modern era and that has quite literally flipped conventional election logic on its head. To that end, there is a term you are going to hear more and more this summer and fall as the key factor in former President Donald Trump’s hopes of retaking the White House: “Low-propensity voter.” READ THE FULL COMMENTARY AT THE DAILY CALLER Editor's note: Opinions expressed in co...

Biden to Hill Dems: ‘I am firmly committed to staying in this race,’ ignoring growing calls to end bid

By NICHOLAS WU and DANIELLA DIAZ | Politico President Joe Biden is attempting to head off more intraparty calls for him to drop out of the race, sending a letter to Hill Democrats Monday morning that emphatically stated he would continue on as the party’s planned nominee. “I am firmly committed to staying in this race, to running this race to the end, and to beating Donald Trump,” he said in the letter to lawmakers. Not even 24 hours before, four senior Democrats said on a private call with House party leadership that Biden should step aside. With Congress returning from the July Fourth recess Monday, Biden and his campaign have scrambled to tamp down lawmakers’ concerns about his viability as a candidate after his widely-panned debate performance. WURD-AM radio host leaves station after using questions provided by Biden campaign in interview

By Mallory Wilson  | The Washington Times A radio host from Philadelphia has parted ways with her station after she admitted to using prewritten questions from the Biden campaign in an interview with President Biden. Andrea Lawful-Sanders and WURD “mutually agreed to part ways, effective immediately,” the company said in a statement Sunday. “The interview featured pre-determined questions provided by the White House, which violates our practice of remaining an independent media outlet accountable to our listeners,” Sara M. Lomax, president and CEO of WURD Radio, said in the statement. The statement said the interview Wednesday — the first interview with the president after his shaky debate performance on June 27— was “arranged and negotiated independent...

Visitor logs detail top Parkinson’s disease specialist visited White House 10 times since 2022

By Peter Cordi | Washington Examiner President Joe Biden’s physician met with a top Washington, D.C., neurologist who specializes in Parkinson’s disease earlier this year, according to White House visitor logs. The logs show that Parkinson’s disease expert Dr. Kevin Cannard of the Walter Reed Medical Center met with Biden’s physician Kevin O’Connor and two others at the White House residence clinic on Jan. 17. Cannard’s name shows up in the visitor logs 10 times since Nov. 15, 2022. “It’s highly likely they were talking about Biden,” Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) told the New York Post, who first reported on the Jan. meeting. “He should only be [regularly] treating the president and the first family.” Jackson served as physician to the presid...

Report: Taxpayers are funding services for illegals; Congress, including Republicans, approved it

By Bethany Blankley | The Center Square Taxpayers are not only funding the border crisis, but they are also paying for numerous free services illegal foreign nationals receive, according to a new report published by the House Judiciary Committee and its Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement.  The committee blames the Biden administration in its new report, "Chauffeur at the Border, Concierge in the Interior: How the Biden Administration Rewards Illegal Aliens on the Taxpayers' Dime" for costs to U.S. taxpayers.   It also notes that Congress, including Republicans, voted to fund the programs it identified as wasting taxpayer money and facilitating the border crisis when Congress passed an omnibus appropriations bill in M...

Biden was asked questions in radio ‘interview’ his own campaign provided

By Alex Miller | The Washington Times President Biden’s campaign came up with questions for a Philadelphia-based radio host who interviewed him this week. Andrea Lawful-Sanders, host of “The Source,” said she was sent the questions from Mr. Biden’s campaign ahead of her Q&A that was recorded Wednesday and aired Thursday. “I got several questions, eight of them, and the four that were chosen were the ones that I approved,” Ms. Lawful-Sanders told CNN’s Victor Blackwell on Saturday.  Mr. Blackwell noted that Ms. Lawful-Sanders and his other guest, Earl Ingram, a Milwaukee-based radio host who also interviewed Mr. Biden this week, asked basically the same questions.  READ THE FULL STORY AT THE WASHINGTON TIMES

Trump throws down challenge for ‘no holds barred’ debate with Biden

By Elaine Mallon | Washington Examiner On Independence Day, former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to challenge President Joe Biden to a second presidential debate.  Biden’s performance in the Atlanta debate has called into question the president’s cognitive ability, with one reporter asking White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre if he suffered from Alzheimer’s.  Biden and his campaign team have acknowledged that he had a rough showing in the debate. Sources: Biden tells Dem governors he’s fine, ‘It’s just my brain’

By REAGAN REESE | The Daily Caller President Joe Biden told more than 20 Democratic governors that he is in good health with the exception of his brain function while discussing the fate of his presidential campaign on Wednesday, sources told the New York Times. Biden assured the governors that despite the growing calls for him to drop out of the presidential race, he would be staying in, two people who participated in the meeting and several others briefed on his comments told the NYT. In response to a question about his health from Hawaii Gov. Josh Green, the 81-year-old said that all was fine with him except for his “brain.” “It’s just my brain,” Biden told Green, which at least one governor took as a serious comment that left them confused, the NYT reported. At least three oth...

‘A bad night’: Biden concedes he ‘screwed up’ in debate with Donald Trump

By ISABELLA RAMÍREZ | Politico President Joe Biden admitted he “screwed up” and “made a mistake” at last week’s presidential debate, conceding that his performance was rocky in some of his first interviews since the meltdown. “I had a bad night,” Biden told Earl Ingram on WAUK, a radio station based in Waukesha, Wisconsin. “I didn’t have a good debate. That’s 90 minutes on stage. Look at what I’ve done in 3.5 years.” The president sat down for pre-recorded interviews with two radio stations — WAUK and WURD, the only African-American owned and operated talk radio station in Pennsylvania — as he attempts to calm the nerves of Democrats frantic about his ability to serve. Over the past few days, he has made last-minute plans to convene more than 20 Democratic governors, call senio...

Callahan: Bad Doctor Jill Biden doesn’t give a damn about America – or her husband

By MAUREEN CALLAHAN | Daily Mail This is presidential power on life support – and Jill Biden is refusing to pull the plug. For someone who ridiculously insists on being called 'Dr.' — Jill is not a medical doctor, or even a PhD, just America's most famous community college teacher — well, Jill seems quite the opposite. What she is doing to her husband is arguably elder abuse, and what she's doing to the nation is unforgivable. It's not enough that The New York Times, the day after last Thursday's calamitous debate, called on President Biden to step down. READ THE FULL COMMENTARY AT THE DAILYMAIL
